# AIP Phases

The AIP process includes nine phases, beginning with the AIP Idea and concluding with the Implementation phase for proposals approved by the DAO. The complete proposal process is further detailed in [AIP-1](https://forum.apecoin.com/t/aip-1-proposing-the-dao-process/39).
