Learn about the roles and responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Working Group and its Initiatives

The Metaverse Working Group was the ApeCoin DAO’s third Working Group approved via AIP-245 in June 2023. The Marketing and Communication Working Group’s mandate is to “Drive culture forward into the metaverse by actively supporting metaverse-related efforts within the ApeCoin DAO.”

Both Dim and David were voted into their seats by a DAO-wide vote in December 2023.

The Metaverse Working Group Stewards are responsible for:

• Supporting content creators and builders in the Otherside

• Facilitating $APE adoption in metaverses beyond the Otherside

• Providing regular updates to the DAO community on the group’s operations and its outcomes.

The Metaverse Working Group was just recently established so they are still brainstorming Initiatives to propose to the community. Below are some suggested in AIP-245:

• Outreach to projects and creators

• Improbable Miniverse Dive Bar

• Otherside content development

• Uplifting content creators

• Creating spaces for content creators and the community to come together

• Metaverse gaming development

• Championing art, media, culture

• Championing data ownership and identity
